You still interested in dry clean? I have one of the best you might not want to miss.
There are a lot of dry cleaners are for sale now because not many of them are making profits. Dry cleaners were hit hard by economy down turn and some of them probably will not recover. The reason is once customer either switch to high end cleaner for better quality or low end cleaner for better price, it is rare they return back to cleaners with neither good qualty nor good price. So only high end cleaner (like mine) with good quality and low end with good price are doing well now.
It is a very hard business. If you want your customer keeping coming back, you need to work hard. You need to earn their money.
Find a good location with a good price per cloth, and find a dry cleaner with a good reputation, and you are willing to work hard, and not expect to become rich overnight, then you can be successful and eventualy you will be making good money.
Do not buy a cleaner which has been sold many times in short time. If a dry cleaner is good, the owner probably wants to keep it for long time, 5 years, 10 years, not few months, 1 year.
The major expenses for dry cleaning:
Rent, electricity, salary (it is alway better doing everything yourself).
It can be very profitable for a well located and managed dry cleaner. |
