About Home/House Insurance

I just bought a house in West Island, and try to get Home/House Insurance, the premium that Canada Life give me is more than $600, and all my friends are getting something around $300-$400, I think because I am new in Town, and Canada Life is taking advantage of it.

Any body has the same experiece? or any good insurance company/broker?
