I sent my application at the end of Sep.05, and the application was received by CIC on Sep. 30, 05.  CIC started to process it on Nov. 4, 05.  And today I check online, and found the case was already being transferred to Montreal local office on Dec. 08, 05.  Which means it only took a little over 2 months for the case to be sent to local office.  Is it too fast?  Does it mean the CIC expediate the whole process now?  Can anyone share their timeline?

I thought fingerprint will only be required when the files are in the CIC center.  Could someone tell me what they will do at the local center?  Could those who are required to provide fingerprint tell me when they are required to do the fingerprint, in CIC center, or in the local office.   Your reply is highly appreciated!

I do think your case is so far so perfect, i mean the speed.

However, nobody knows what will happen in the Montreal office, maybe go to the test and oath (good scenario), and maybe go to fingerprint (bad scenario), in that case you will need another 8-10 month to get fingerprinted and then wait for the test.

It's normal speed for case processing. U may need to wait another 6-10 months depending on your luck. If asked for the fingerprint, may need 2-8 months more.
