请教各位如果我想定居蒙城，那么孩子只能上法语学校吗？有没有可能上英语学校？我女儿上四年级了，法语一个字母也不认识。各位前辈有何指教？多谢！

Yes, They will stay in the " Welcome Class " for 5 to 10 months depend on their standard and progress.

After the welcome class your child will go to the regular class according to ther age.

Don't worry, just keep your child to study hard and focus well on their class, they will pick it up.

No, they only have two hour english class per week.  :rolleyes:

In French Primary school, they teach English at P.5, but they will start to have English class from P.1 next year.

Usually, there are student coming from all parts of the world. some of them speak English but not all. Even some of them do not speak both English and French.

If you settle in one of the good area in Montreal, there are some very good Public French Primary school you can send you child to.

In Montreal, you do not have chance to get into Public English school except to about 10,000 a year for private English school.

For my opinion, try to look out in N.D.G. area or West island area in Montreal. Over there primary schools and secondary schools are quite good, as well,people living in these area are Enlish speaking.

I want to change my mind to live in Toronto because I was frustrated by the web page you recommended, I can hardly remember any school name from the french page.
