I arrived in Toronto Mar23. I planned to stay some days first then go to Montreal. So I've applied for SIN card when I accompanied my friend's parents to HRDC in Toronto this Monday. I was told the SIN card will be sent to me (my friend's address) in 3-5 weeks. But now next Monday I will go Montreal, is it the same place where new immigrants apply for SIN I will go for landing with my CSQ? Thanks in advance!!

It doesn't matter. Forget about what you did in Toronto.
After arriving in Montreal call (514)864-9191, the officer will tell you every thing you are concerned about landing in Montreal.

Montrealer, thanks for your soonest reply!There are 2 other questions: 1. I heard it is rather difficult to apply for colleges and universities (english) because of too many people applying for. I'd like to study accounting relative program. Is it possilbe for me to apply for 2001 fall term now? I have no tofel score. 2. Is it easy to find a room for single one? With local people is better because I can improve my language ability quickly.

I am going to land this april.My friends has found a house in hamilton.however I wanna go to montreal later,some friends told me that i can't apply sin in ontario,if so,i won't get 上学补助 and other financial support,could you tell me how to deal with such things?

As a federal immigrant, come to Montreal the sooner the better. You can apply for SIN here in Montreal.

that is the reason,for i wanna further my study in canada,so montreal is better ,however now i had rent the house and paid.
mcmaster is in hamilton.

if i apply sin in hamilton,then transfer to montreal,what is the result,perhaps i will transfer within 3 months,thanks again.
