I can't tell which one is better, but as I'm the powerbook G4 users, I strongly recommd you to buy it espacially if you wanna be different what ever the system or design, and as far as I use, it really works very well, it you are or you know someone is a student, you can buy it in educatonal store, you can get a few hunderds dollars off. However, you should be awear that you can't use a lot of softwares as other PCs, that's why I wanna find someone share buying the Mac Office with me. do you intrested in that?

I am not sure which model of powerbook G4 you have. Mine is 12" G4 powerbook. I ordered Dec. last year and Apple started to ship it Feb. this year...hehe...

Yes, if you have 12" pb, then chances are the left palm of your machine will get pretty warm (where CPU and hard drive reside) if you are trying to open too many multimedia apps ep. iTune, Mplayer, Photoshop etc. If you are just using office, coding, stuff like that, it should be okay. After all, you cannot expect too much for such a small sexy beast~ :p Actually apple is trying hard to fix that, so keep your machine updated from apple latest OS X patches.

I will recommend you go to MacNN forum at http://www.macnn.com to post ur qestions. Lots of Mac geeks are there available to help u.

my apple is powerbook 12 G4 superdriver, same as you have, right now I need office software, do you have it, it possibale we can exchange some software? by the way how to make big screen for iDVD
