请问哪位高手如果ACCESS数据库达到文件大小的最大值(1G)以后为什么删除表里的记录不会使数据库文件变小一点？

用COMPACT能使尺寸变小。

Just follow the below procedure to compact your access db.

From menu bar, click Tools --> Database Utilities --> Compact and repair database...

Then access will compact your db automatically. It will mainly delete a lot of "middle tables" generated by itself, i am not sure about this process, anyway, if you're interested, you could get more info from MSDN Library online.

Actually you can set automatical compact from tool bar tools/option/general/compact at close.

Then the your mdb will be automatically compacted when it is closed.
