Does anybody knows how to retrieve word or excel attachment from Notes database by NotesSQL using VB or Java? I found this question was asked 2 years ago and answer is NO. Just wondering if there is any new feature in NotesSQL 3 to allow me to do this? If it couldn't, is there any workaround I can use? Basically what I need is to get these attachments and save them in local folder using VB or Java.

Any help will be great appreciated.

Could you tell me whether the application run on IE or Notes client?

If you use Notes client, you can complete the application by Notesscript; if IE, you can consult the Notes API about javascript.

blueangell, thanks a lot for your reply. NotesSQL is an odbc driver provided by Notes. What i am trying to do is to create a stand alone application to retrieve information including attachments from Notes database and dump them into Oracle and put the attach files into a file server.
