[电脑] How to open avi format files?

I have downloaded some movies in .avi format, but I could not open it with windows media player, there was no any error message and I could see the time is displayed but the screen is black, no sound, no pictures, I also tried another player, such as realone, QuickTime, all of them did not work. Does anyone know why?

maybe u had download a divx files,or u can install realone player or divx5.05, it will work after u do that.
