已经递了入籍申请后回国，等到通知来考试或宣誓的时候不能及时过来，会有什么后果？可否申请推迟几个月？

If an applicant is sent a notice to appear for a written test or interview and fails to respond, the local office may, after having sent one or two notices by regular mail (at the discretion of the local office), request that the applicant appear for an oral hearing with a citizenship judge. If the applicant does not appear for the oral hearing with the judge, follow abandonment procedures.

Only reactivate an abandoned application if there is an administrative error by Citizenship officials.

So, you'd better response with the CPC Sydney to explain why you cannot showup and request the postpone ASAP.

The first letter, doesn't matter, since they will send you other one for the test. However, I don't know what it would happen if you skip the second one. Heard it is serious.

You can always check ur status online, and if find the letter was sent, book ur ticket!

Or if you don't mind to tell the web site to locate the related info. Thx.
I have to postpond my test date which is on April 24th. but I am still overseas now.
