请教RS232问题:
一台DOS机器(VERY OLD), 我想备份该机器的DOS文件到另一台新机器上.

DOS机器(VERY OLD)只有RS232口, 我是否能用RS232接口线对接两台机器?

哪里能DOWNLOAD 该DOS通讯软件?

办法道是有，可都是很麻烦。
为什么不能把旧机器的硬盘接到新机器上去备份呢？这可能是最简单的办法了。

老机器的硬盘是大硬盘,且接口和电缆都和新机器的系统不匹配..

no, u can't use RS232 ports to connect two computer for transfering data.
Plug in a ISA/PCI NIC,and use one other PC connect to the old PC by using cross through calbe. Try to find some softwares for Remote Terminal which can use between DOS workstation and WIN9X/2000/XP.OR if u know how to use NetBEUI....
u will be sick in doing this.Sorry, i have no simple way in your situation!!

May I ask a question, what files u wanna transfer,and Why?

如果老机器上装的是win95/98(但我估计不是)，可以用其中的“直接电缆连接”。我用过并口连接，但我记得串口也可以。

如果系统不是windows, dos6.00以后好像有个程序叫interlink.exe, 我记不清楚了，找本dos书查一查，应该是能用的。

用DOS的并口命令吧,不过你要有并口电缆，速度还可以。好像是interlink来着，太老了,8年前用过的。

I don't believe the OS in the PC is 6.0 ,and it's hard to find the cable for RS232(PC) now
