really?! the guy is my oral examiner. it took me almost 10 mins, and surely i lost 5 mins in writing. but finally, he gave me A for spoken part, so not too bad... maybe now mcgill has higher request on english
I do believe you were lucky at that time.
I think now this case did not mean they imporve requirement on English, but their english certificate program are short of students. For them, the first purpose is to make money.
Now I am thinking which exam fits me very well.
Maybe TOFEL or IELTS.
U know, long time not prepared TOFEL, it is also tough for me.
But I will not take that McGill english certificate program. Why should pay money to them?
I disagree that person's comments, I did LINC test at Toronto at the 2nd week after my arrival, and I got LINC 8. They YMCA recommended me to go to take ELT, or go directly to job seeking. |
