Hi,

I am a linux user: All my home computers (desk, lap...top) with dual boot systems (xp + Fedora, vista+suse, xp+Mandriva, xp+ubuntu, and Ununtu + vmware+XP).

What kind of  system do you have now and do you what?? If it is laptop, you may need to try different distributor ( most problem is video card and wireless ).  For desktop, it is easy to install (than Windows) .

Thank you very much for your reply. I have had two systems installed in my notebook: a redhat Linux and Windows XP. Recently the windows crushed. After I reinstalled XP, I lost Linux. Therefore I need to reinstall Linux. One friend will help to solve this problem. Hopefully it will work.

In your case, you don't need to reinstall Linux. Just reinstall boot loader..

用redhat系统安装盘启动系统，选择rescue模式。

当出现boot的时候选择回车

接着键入grub

root (hd0,0) 假设你的linux装在这里

setup (hd0)

重启即可
