We, 23millions Taiwanese, are not Chinese. That is to say, Taiwanese are totally different from Chinese. We have no historical or genetic connection with them, except some Chinese came to our island in 1949.
Also, We are even not asian. In fact, we are mix of Japan and Dutch descendent . So actually we Taiwanese are west european. Our language, Taiwanese, is mix of a remote dialect of west Europe and Japanese. Chinese people can never understand Taiwanese. However, common Japanese can understand at least 50% Taiwanese without any education. Taiwanese language is totally different from Chinese. Although we were forced to use Mandrin after 1949, when the Chinese Kuomingtan party invaded we Taiwan). The difference between Chinese and Taiwanese language is as big as the difference between Chinese and English.
Taiwan was, is , will never be part of China.
Green Taiwan Go! Green Taiwan No.1!
Kick Chinese Kuomingtan's ass back to China!
