We are currently conducting a study on the learning of French. To
participate, you must:
1) be a native speaker of Mandarin and be born in China;
2) have learned English as a second language and be of
intermediate to advanced speaking proficiency;
3) have learned French as a third language and be of
advanced speaking proficiency ;
4) have no known hearing problems.
The experiment includes reading tasks in Mandarin, English and
French; a French listening task; and a background questionnaire.
Participation involves two sessions of approximately one hour each.
The study will take place from June 2-5, 2009 at Concordia University
(downtown campus, LB-520-5). Individuals will receive $30 for their
participation.
