本人是加拿大永久居民，19个月前申请了公民，很不幸至今仍在等待中。
我从去年开始到美国工作，这期间只回过加拿大几次。快到交税截止期了，我想如果我交税，加拿大税务局知道我在500公里外工作，不可能每天回加拿大，而且我在加拿大一无所有，移民局还会认为我是居民吗? 如果不交税，停止做居民，我还能拿到公民身份吗?
如果那位朋友能提供建议或信息，本人将不胜感激!
