下个月从蒙城移居魁北克，不会法语，原在蒙城high school 学习英语，由此可见我的英语水

平也是很有限的。   我也明白魁北克几乎是纯粹法语区域，但是英语不上不下的我如果此刻开

始法语的学习估计可能出现两相耽误的局面；因此，计划仍然先坚持把英语学好。（用1-2年

的时间）

请朋友们指点一下可能有的学习途径以及联系方式。

apply COFI's french course first in Quebec, so hard for u to practice English in Quebec, they only speak French. In COFI, 9 months will finish French course and Gov will pay u the allocation. u can study English after the French course. At least you can communicate with the people here. Normally, After 6 months study french, you can read the newspaper and you can talk. Apply it as soon as possible. if you need the web site for it, let me know. I will send you that.

If you lived at Quebec city, you would speak fluent English after learning. I think you can move back to China, and approach the same goal.

Move to city Quebec, practise French with local residents, that is the way. If you decide to learn English at a non-English area, it is better learning in China, at least your grammer will get more accurate than other area.

Gov give you money to improve your  french, not for your English.

so if you want to improve your english first, move to Alberta, that is a feasible and rational. To learn English there in ESL class, you can get 800$ per month, a couple both can get nearly 1500$. That is available only 3 months later after you settled down there. not Like here, you need wait for 1 year.

So Go Alberta!

我的看法： 学英语不在于多，而在于精，不管是HIGH SCHOOL教材，新概念，。。。。应该不断地重复，这样对听力和口语很有好处。但QC CITY确实不是学英语的好地方。

除了魁省，其他省学英语的机会很多，条件也很好，就是招不到新移民

Give it up unless you are very good in FRENCH, because they are using FRENCH to teach you english.

Howevery, there are many place offre basic english course for free or at very low price, contact your local church or community for detail.
