Andrew Chang
Since graduating from Carleton University in 2004, Andrew Chang has been a CBC-er through and through. Starting his career in Montreal with the tedious summer task of logging every election-related minute on both television and radio, he quickly took on the role of newsroom researcher. His passion for reporting quickly grew out of that, and Andrew soon became one of CBC Montreal's chief staff reporters, covering virtually every major event to happen in Montreal for the last five years -- including spending a grueling five weeks on Pauline Marois' PQ campaign bus, during the 2008 provincial election.
His job continued to evolve, taking on the task of videojournalist: interviewing the newsmakers, writing and reporting the story, shooting and editing the video, and finally presenting it all on CBC News: Montreal.
Now Andrew works alongside Jennifer Hall, hosting the broadcast, and presenting the day's most important stories every weekday evening. Weekends are another story though -- in his book, nothing's better than spending a winter weekend snowboarding, or a summer weekend scrambling. |
