4月22日早上,我们楼上突然停水停电。我只看到我们厕所的灯闪了几下,然后就停电了。当时我小孩上厕所,我在洗碗,过一会儿,水也停了。那天小孩刚好发烧,我说出去买退烧药吧。楼道里都很黑,结果我们就照着手电筒下去了,走到五楼朋友家。说一起出去吧,就在我们等她们的时候,电来了。我当时怕家里的电源都没关好,特别怕灶头没有关好,所以就回去看了一下。看一切都是好的,结果我就又下去了,因为电梯还不能动,所以我们就走楼梯出去了,小孩上的厕所也没有水冲。出去以后,小孩在外面吃了退烧药,感觉好一点,所以就说到唐人街吃饭去吧。没想到事情就这样发生了,我回家时,房子管理员说我厨房水龙头没关,然后我洗碗时东西留在了水池里,把水池给堵了,这个水一直往下流,从七楼留到了四楼,所有楼里都没有人。发生了这个事,我不知道该怎么办?天天提心吊胆,前两天收到房东的信,我把信也给发上来吧,希望好心人能给我指点,或给我推荐一个律师。
As you are aware, on friday, April 22,2011 your negligence caused extensive and substantial water damages to our building at 3474 Hutichison, Montreal, Quebec including but not limited to damages in apartments 704,605,604,504,404 and 304.
On Friday, April 22,2011 you left your apartment while having both kitchen faucets turned on, a sink full of dishes and 2 rags(dishcloths) in the sink which were blocking the drain. At approximately 2:00pm the superintendent received a telephone call from the tenant in 605 advising him that they had water leaking into their apartment from above.
Please be advised that Zimmerman Properties holds you fully responsible for any and all costs involved regarding the above mentioned water leak.
We believe it would be prudent for you to inform your insurance company about this claim. |
