Does any one have experience with DV capture using Firewire? My problem is my PC can find and control my camera, but there is no video on PC. Thanks. My camera is Digital8

Normally you can see the video while you transfer it from Digital camcoder to PC harddrive. It depends on the software you use. I use Ulead VideoWave, it shows the
frame number being transfered as well as a video window showing the slowing down video.
