A friend needs something, but she doesn't ask me directly. Instead, she asked another friend, who is more familiar with me, to ask me. I gave her anyway. After she got it, I met her. She seemed that she didn't know it is from me. She showed no appreciation to me at all, though she knew it is from me.

Am I wrong to expect a 'thank you' from her? Is she right to pretend that she doesn't know it is from me?
