Yuan's Place

I was promopted to the director of R & D. I was very suprised. Winnie told me later it is because my American colleagues like me during the training. They like Paul too. And they had to choose between me and Paul for the director in Shanghai. they chose me. We have two directors. Another one is for the production. I did not quickly accept the position. I told the general manager I need to think about it. I was so happy that day when the general manager told me. I was alway dreaming about one day playing a big boss role in the company. Now I got it, the director. I was thinking about Yuan and Winnie. I need to find Yuan and divorce with her. Then I will marry Winnie. Then the director. I decided that night; I will leave the company for one year to find Yuan in US. The company will probably ask Paul to be the director. I wouldn’t mind very much because I need to find Yuan first.

When I told the general manager about my decision, he said I should go, for me and for Winnie. He then announced the same day that Paul will be the temporary director, and said to the company I will leave the company for one year for my personal business. I did not say anything.

I stayed in the company for the rest of the week to settle down the the work and the paper work of my temorary leave. We had a party for Paul to become the director and for my leave of absence, the company colleagues. It was fun.

Winnie came to my house every day after work, to cook for me and to be with me before I leave. It was the most wonderful time in my life, to be with Winnie. Seeing her busy around in the house reminding me our Yuanfeng will be there forever. It will not go away for whatever the reason. I was so glad; then I appreciate every moment I have with Winnie and enjoy the happiness and togetherness.

I finally left Shanghai for New York. I went to east coast because I think Yuan lives in east. I rented an apartment and lived in. Then I started to look for Yuan. I believe in Yuanfeng, and I knew I will find her and meet her. I first started to look at newspaper ads., but I could not find any trace. Then I went to school phone directory on the Internet. I spent half a year looking for her across US east coast schools, but I still don’t have any luck. I started to get disappointed.

Winnie calls me sometimes during my stay. She told her over the phone how she and the company are doing. Sometimes she says she wants to come over too because she misses me. I told her I miss her too, but she doesn’t need to come. She listened to me.

I started to get bored in US, then I decided to have some fun. I rented car sometimes. And I visited lots of places here, Baltimore, New Jersey, Boston, Philidephia, North and South Carolina, and Florida. I took lots of pictures of cities and towns in eastern US, and the nature. I started to enjoy a little of my stay in US.

Winnie called again. I just told her I have’s find Yuan yet, but I am having some fun here. She then asked me to care more about my health, wear more clothes because it is getting cold. She is so caring a woman. No, a girl, I should say.
