I need help... period:frown:</O:p<O:p

Mandarin is a very hard language to learn  If anyone would like to exchange my English skills for your much needed Mandarin skills, please write me at nindepengyou@hotmail.com.

I am a man in his twenties and in my spare time I enjoy Biking, Art, Movies, sports and anything else besides politics. As an English exchange partner, I am thought of as humorous, devoted, attentive, extremely patient, kind, understanding and Friendly. No, I am not a student!... Been there, done that and have the t-shirt! (Sorry for my English slang/expression) I work during the day in a job I enjoy. I would really like to visit China in the near future so I am in desperate need of some assistance.

If you think you can help, I do so very much hope to hear from you! Many thanks in advance!

Take care!

1st Note: Reason for wanting to learn Mandarin... I would like to work in China.

2nd Note: Reason for me writing my qualities.... I think it would be useful for you to know who you would be exchanging languages with. Hopefully, you can tell me a little bit about yourself too...

3rd Note: I am not a biginner... wo hui shuo yi dian zhong wen, ke shi, wo shuo de hai bu hao (I hope I got that right:-) ).

4th Note: Unfortunately, yes I am single. However, I am only looking for a language partner and friend, so it doesn't matter if you are married or have a boyfriend already.

Thanks,

well, mandarin is not as tough as you think, as long as you are a sensitive and emotional person. sometimes maybe u need to think from a way that women do, try to learn it with your 6e sense. just throw away those strict rules in french and english.
Bonne chance à toi.

Yes, I agree with you, to learn Mandarin I would need to develop a 6th sense:p  It is amazing how different Mandarin is from English and French. Unlike English and French where you can understand a basic meaning with each and every word, with Mandarin you must listen to an 'entire' sentence to understand what someone is trying to say. It's like I have to un-learn everything I already know to speak in this dialect:frown:

I still can't understand how the chinese language was created.... If people didn't know how each chinese character sounded, then how was it that everyone came to speak it in the same way?:eek!:

There is an English saying, which came first, the chicken or the egg...

Regardless, I am determined to speak Chinese!!
