Origin : Claude Robillard centre is not only a soccer stadium but also serves as a multi sports complex. Built for the 1976 summer Olympic games, it hosted handball and water polo competitions. It was also the training centre for athletes taking part in athletics, swimming and field hockey during the games. The Canadian army used the basement as its Olympic headquarters!
It is one of Montréal’s largest athletic complexes. It offers an excellent range of both indoor and outdoor facilities, and each year it welcomes more than 2.3-million people practising 40 different sports. It remains a choice training destination for Canada’s athletic elite. It underwent extensive renovation in 2000.

Pour la deuxième année consécutive la responsabilité de cet événement majeur est confiée au Club Élite de Karaté Traditionnel Shotokan Montréal-Concordia en collaboration avec la Fédération Québécoise de Karaté Traditionnel, sous la supervision de monsieur Chanh Chau-Tran, 6e dan.
