我最近打算申请麦大的教育系本科(2003年秋季).这个专业毕业后可以获得教师证书.但对此专业申请的难度及就业的前景不是非常了解,也就是比较迷惑!非常希望与  对此感兴趣的朋友进行交流,谢谢!

How is your French? I heard that to be a teacher in Quebec you need to pass a French Competency Exam. It is a difficult exam. It is true that by getting into that program you will get a certificate. Education is still a field that offers many job opportunities.
I still think it is harder to be a teacher in Quebec than in Ontario, since they are cutting English schools here. Of course, if your French is very good, that is no problem.
