好房东讲道理,即使有时候你也有明显的过失.
我就碰到一回。
那一天上午,我在家里清理可怜的单门冰箱里的冰,不小心把冰箱搞坏了。于是打电话给Jinitor。她很有经验,问:你用了什么?刀?我说:是。
大约两个小时之后,物业管理员给我换了一个新的。
第二天,物业管理员打电话给我,说我弄坏了冰箱换了新的,要200元。我早有准备,马上到她办公室,和她实事求是地谈了一下。她说,你不同意,写信给Retal Office。
信我写好了,但一直没寄。他们口头找我,我口头答复了,并留了相片和一封信。等他们书面找我,我在寄信吧。信的内容如下。后来也没有寄。直到我搬走,房东再也没提过冰箱的事。
Dear Sir/Madam,
First of all, I do appreciate the concierge for the prompt response and your replacement fof the refrigerator, which was broken this morning.
But I don’t think I will pay for the replacement.
The 2nd day when I moved in last year, I’ve told the concierge the refrig did not work well and asked a new one. She replied that it’s normal for refrig and refuse my request.
But it’s a fact that the refrig does not work well, especially the freezing box.
For instance, if I store an ice cream, it will be melt to water the next day. If I store some pork or beef, it will take one or two days to freeze.
Once I remove the ice and frost, they will appear again after two or three months and occupy half of the volume of the freezing box.
I can hear that the compressor works much more than normal.
Generally speaking, I hope you can agree that this refrig is too old, with too bad condition and its lifecycle is over.
I’m sorry for the damage. But not removing the more and more ice of the freezing box, I cannot use it any more.
I promise that I will be more serious in the new refrigerator and call the concierge at the first time if any problem.
