首先声明,小弟非高手,如有错漏之处,还望真正的高手海涵,不要拍砖.

据我所知,目前世面上的数码摄像机主要有三类:第一类是最便宜的,一般500刀以下可以搞定,就是用磁带做为存储方式.如果要把录像刻光盘,就必须通过电脑.磁带可以反复使用.这种摄像机的最大优点是便宜,但现在人们使用光盘越来越多,这种机器有一种过时的感觉.而且磁带不容易保存.第二类是以DVD为存储方式,录下的内容直接存于DVD上.可使用的DVD盘有一次性的(DVD-R)和多次刻录的(DVD+/-RW).如果不需要很多编辑的话,刻盘直接在机器里就完成了,不需要通过电脑.当然也可以传到电脑上做其他编辑工作.小弟就在不久前买了一台,感觉很满意.这种机器比第一种要贵一点,根据不同的牌子和分辨率的大小,价格在600多到1200多.使用的DVD小盘比磁带要贵,尤其是多次刻录盘.不过有机会的话可以从国内买盘,便宜很多,虽是杂牌儿,但一样好用.效果也不错.第三类是以硬盘为存储方式,市面上目前有20G和30G的.由于硬盘很大,所以这种机器可以一下录很长时间(大于10小时,如果不存在电池的问题的话),这种是目前最贵的一种.价格不菲.但也许将来会成为主流.如果想要存盘的话,可能也得借助电脑的帮助.

I personally prefer video cameras using the tape because the tapes can hold the best quality of uncompressed DV video. And they are the best for editing. All the professionally video cameras are still using tapes.

Video cameras using DVDs can hold only compressed MPEG format video which is not as good quality as DV video and is difficult to edit in most editing software such as Adobe Premiere.

Video cameras using Hard drives also can hold only compressed video. Note that when you transfer the uncompressed video from the tape to computer, it takes 250MB of hard disk space for each minute of video. And this is only for SD video. If you want to go for newer generation like HD video, it will take about 6GB of hard disk space for each minute of video. A 20GM hard drive will only hold 3 minutes of uncompressed HD video.

So you can imagine the quality of video when you record 10 hours video in a 20GM hard drive.

which is good and i have been using this machine for a while, the picture effect is not very very clear though but good enough for personal use. The sound effect is very good, the tape can hold 1 hour video and then transfer/write on a CD permenently.
For a DV beginner, this is a good start.
