:confused:  本人为新移民,素日与人为善,却不知为何3个月来,经常接到骚扰电话,白天和晚上均被骚扰,平均每天1-2个,更可气的是经常半夜2--4点,如果我接听后,几分钟后就会再有.经常是来电话以后,对方听到有人接听就转为传真信号.我不在时,我的留言机经常会记录传真的声音.为此我电话设置来电显示,但是对方安了主叫号码隐藏,还是找不到人,气煞我也!
换电话号码,实在不方便,但我又不知还有什么好办法?  :mad:

也有可能是你的号码以前是一家公司的电话，所以经常有FAX进来。FAX都是机器自动拨的，所以几分钟后会再挂。我建议你去BELL换个号码。

I had the same experience before when I got a new number from Bell. I normally got 4 to 5 calls every day, sometimes in the mid of night. I complained to Bell several times and used every possible function they suggested, i.e. block, trace, etc. no use at all, the calling no. were always changing from different places, all were fax signals. I finally got no choice and complained seriously to Bell and insisted I need another no. as this no. must be a fax no. used previously and there are a lot of companies had programmed fax sending in automatically.

Stupid Bell always wants to sell their services instead of solving the problem for you. Be strong when you complain and tell them you can't stand anymore, either change the tel. no or change the co. (you have other choice now), they should be able to give you a new no. That's the only way to solve the problem completely.

我本想让BELL公司为我打出来最近一段时间的来电号码清单,可是BELL竟然说没有这种服务(付费).BELL就是不断向你推销它的收费项目!难道说这里也是没有办法制裁坏人?!报警是要证据呀!难道就得自认倒?霉?  :mad:

谢谢PEACE的帮助,你的新号码是免费给你的吗?我还不知道是不是我现在的号码以前有人用过,还是恶意骚扰,不过我会向BELL坚持换一个新号码!  :p

Write a warring message send back to that number say:
you will request phone company close/cancell their number if they still bother you.

if doesn't work, call you local phone company to close the number.

I do it before,it works.

Yes, Bell should offer you a new tel. no free of charge. That's what I got. It's their responsibility, actually we should ask them for reimbursement of the disturbance, shall we?

If they don't care you very much, tell them you want to speak to their manager who can solve the problem completely for you, be strong enough, it's my experience.
