1) in winter: 35psi -- this is because extreme cold temperature will lower the pressure, thus cauing excessive consumption of gas. You should check the pressure at least once a month, especially on a very cold morning (before you drive the car). Tires must be measured when tires are cold. If you need to pump in more air, you need to drive slowly and not over 5 kms. Otherwise, the heat will increase the pressure and make the reading inaccurate.
2) in summer - 33 psi - this is because the extreme heat will increase the pressure even more. So let out some air from your tires. Otherwise, they may explode under very hot weather. |
