因本人准备生小孩，要搬去与长辈同住，问过房东提前解约可不可以，他提出要赔偿3个月房租，不知道合不合理。不知道有没有知情者提供更详细的信息。

转租好像也要付一个月租金的罚款，我朋友遇到过这种情况。

You can

1) sublease your apartment (No breaking lease fee, but may have 50-100 sublease fee depend on different place, and you have the responsibility for the next tenant )

2) Before  break your lease, talk to the manager or landlord, normally, one month rental fine or 3 month advance notice. If you are living in an apartment that has much lower rental than neighbourhood and lucky enough, you can just notice one month in advance and only pay for the breaking lease fee(around 100$).
