Question: Can the medical examination be done in Canada other than a country specified in the medical examination notice, for example, China?
My parents are applying permanent resident visa to The Canadian Embassy in Beijing and absolutely they need to undergo a medical examination before they can be issued the immigration visa which, by default, will provide designated medical practitioners (DMP) located in China to do the examination for them.
I wonder whether my parents can do the medical examination here in Canada by a DMP in my area instead of doing it in China even though the medical examination notice tells them to do it in China. Because possibly by the time they receive the medical examination notice they may already be in Canada as visitors. I think it is not convenient for them to go back to China to take the medical examination once they are in Canada.
If the answer is “Yes”, what should they prepare?
Thanks in advance |
