Below is the letter I received today.

Good morning,

Last Spring, the Central Parents Committee of the Lester B. Pearson School Board started a petition on ipetiitons.com regarding Bill 104.   We had over 6000 signatures but unfortunately when it came time to submit the petition it was refused as we did not follow proper protocol.

Today, on behalf of the Central Parents Committee, a new petition has been posted following all the proper procedures.  Should you wish to support us please click on the link below,  click on Revision of Bill 103 and submit your information or you can visit our website link is below.  Upon filling in all the information requested you will receive an email from the Quebec National Assembly where you will have to click a link to submit your signature.

Please note your name and family name will be on the list of signatures that the politicians will receive however you cannot view the signatures online like the previous petition.  Also, there is no place to leave a comment.

Good afternoon,

Last Spring the English Montreal School Board and the Lester B Pearson School Board Parent Committees sponsered two petitions on ipetitions.com regarding Bill 104.  Combined, over 13000 signatures were attained. When it came time to submit them we were told that they did not follow proper protocol and they were rejected by the Quebec National Assembly.

Since then the Government has introduced Bill 103 which is replacing Bill 104.  This Bill is totally unacceptable.  Today, Lester B. Pearson School Board Central Parents Committee is happy to announce that a new petition has been launched following all the rules and regulations of the Quebec National Assembly.
