民粹主义造就了一大批死要面子活受罪和不知道德为何物的人。

看看阿拉伯人的思想和观念上的进步：几年前萨达姆被擒获和绞死时不少阿拉伯人认为整个阿拉伯世界受到了污辱，而今利比亚那个疯子被生擒和击毙，利比亚举国欢庆。

坏事又不是你干的，你为什么想为那些干坏事的人掩盖？越顾面子，你就越感到自己的心灵受到折磨。鼓起勇气批判和谴责那冷酷世界及事实，你会感到自己的心灵受到解脱。

这事首先不应是个语言问题，而是关系是非的立场问题，没什么可遮掩的。你以为别人就那么相信你的解释吗？是非观念人皆有之，即使你英法语比老外的还好，花言巧语也无法改变人家的是非观。

Human nature??? 看看这种事发生在这里会有什么景象？估计这里的人都不是human.

没听说过人类与生俱来就是冷血的，这种事估计也就可能发生在当今的中国(或旧社会, whatever)。

拜托别这么跟人解释，这种词用得太丢脸了吧
