原文是:the PLQ and the LPC do not having anything in common, apart the "Liberal" in their names and sharing some very general commitments vis-à-vis individual freedoms and Canadian federalism (although some would say that the PLQ is nonetheless nationalist, just not as much as the other Quebec provincial parties are). They have no organizational ties whatsoever (ever since the 1950s) and rarely do we see a provincial-level liberal politician making the jump to the federal-level liberals (or vice versa). That does not mean that voters do not make connections in their minds between the two parties, but I would say that such connections, while there, remain limited. |
