为了弘扬中国传统文化，几近失传的木偶剧，更为繁荣蒙城华人的精神文化生活，文化宫诚邀中国广东省木偶剧院来蒙城演出，本次演出以传统经典保留剧目为主，穿插演艺人员的绝活，精彩纷呈，集趣味知识于一身，让您回味无穷，流连忘返。

If I recommand this show to friends or colleagues who are not Chinese, would they be able to understand the stories or plots based on the performances?
In other words, is the understanding of the Chinese language a prerequisite to enjoying the show?
If it is the case, providing a short written program in English/French to briefly outline the plot of each act would certainly help.

事实上，如果不知道故事背景，作为外国人有点困难，最好你能解释一下故事的背景，当然我们将为看演出的外国观众配备英法文故事介绍。
这次演出，为了弘扬中国传统文化，体现中国厚重的历史，我们选择的都是典故并有一定代表性的古典经典剧目，比如四大名著中-西游记中的3打白骨精，东坡问月等，这次演出不仅仅局限于木偶戏，更是中国历史文学通过木偶戏-这种通俗易懂的表现形式展示给大家，对于外国人想要了解中国，将是一次千载难逢的机会。

In fact, if the foreigners don't know background story, it is difficult to understand , it is better that you explain to him, of course, we have some booklet to introduce the plot .
this show is to promote chinese culture and to reflet chinese profound histories, so we select some classic program, for exemple <Monkey Subdues the White-Bone Demo> in Journey to the West (a famous Chinese myth), <Dong Po asks the moon> and so on.
this show is not only puppet show, but also chinese histories and culture introduced by puppet show, for the foreigners who want to know china, this is A golden opportunity.
