The coins you collected separately are graded as Circulated and the whole set package released from mint has a grade of UNC(Uncirculated) or PL(Proof-Like). Different grade means different quality and the value or price of them could be a big difference although they may look similar to you.

The 1999 Millennium Set has 12 coins which you can get all of them from circulation. However, there is one coin (the 13th) of the 2000 Millennium Set is not available from circulation, so you have to buy the whole set package in order to get all of them.

The set asking for $168 may be a silver coins set, otherwise the price is too high. Do some search on the Internet and check with Mint Canada, you will get a good deal. |
