If you are staying temporarily in Canada and this is your first application for a CAQ for studies, please enclose the following documents:
- recent ID photo, passport format (35 mm X 45 mm)
- payment of fees to examine your application
- legible photocopy of the identity pages of your passport containing your personal information, photo and the passport expiry date
- original or certified true copy of the admission letter from the registrar of the educational institution that you will attend
- originals or photocopies of proof of financial capacity
- proof that you will hold health and hospitalization insurance in Québec for the first year of validity of your CAQ for studies and that you will continue to have the necessary funds at your disposable to purchase such insurance for the entire duration of your studies. (Students who will be attending university do not have to provide proof of insurance.)
- photocopy of the document establishing your current immigration status in Canada.

The financial statement is better to be recent version.
Minimal requirement = tuition fee (depends on the school and program) + annual living expense (C$10,400) + insurance (C$600) + transportation (cost of return ticket) + settle-in expense (C$500)
