quit my job from toronto to montreal for my wife got the phd offer of mcgill, the human resource refused my application with "leaving without just cause",
who know the ei appeal?
could i apply another benefits in montreal?

I don't think you will get EI because you quit your job by yourself.

Sure you won't get it unless you persuade your human resource to prepare your documents as if you're laid off or the position is no longer there. Even being fired is not sheltered in EI.
