Thanks. I did not use that visa and I will stay in NY for just 2 days. I called travel agent and they also think I can go by this visa. But they suggest me to double confirm with the US consulate. Do you know where I shall call?

i don't think you need to call.

if you go NYC with travel agency, there shouldn't be any problem. but make sure don't tell the long story when you pass the board (don't tell them you got the visa for seattle bla bla bla, :cool: )

The problem is the visa officer indicated the purpose and destination on the visa. It said:" Interview, Seattle WA". The employer's name is also on the visa. It appears the officer does not want me to use this visa for other purpose. Is there any call I can place to double confirm? Thanks again.

In that case, you'll have to call. Sorry i don't know which number.

Actually when you applied for the visa, you could have found another reason (if you go to employment interview, it means you intend to work in the States. I guess that's why they issue you an one entry).

You may find the number from https://www.nvars.com/use/
I don't think you can go to NY because of the destination of the VISA.
An alternative way is that you can use the visa to Seattle first, then to NY, then anywhere else.
