I did not go back to China. I have been working in a software company in montreal in the past two years.

I took the citizenship test at 12:45am on Feb. 15, 2006. Then I waited for about 4 hours. At 5:00pm I took the oath for citizenship. The judge gave me citizen certificate. You can apply for Canadian passport by this certificate. The process of application for Canadian passport will take about one week if you use express service. Normally it takes about two weeks.

我2001年来以后没离开过加拿大. 2004年9月递表, 2005年6月file转到montreal.既没有要求补材料, 也没有要求指纹.问题是一直没收到考试信, 打了无数次电话, 也发了信询问. 都没有结果, 就说在处理中,耐心等待.

上个月中考试，完了后说法官没上班，不能当天宣誓，让回去等通知。我知道有比我后一天考试的都当天宣誓了，怎么就我倒霉。于是打咨询电话，和他们理论了半天---- 公民入籍教材里反复强调的“公民应享受公平的权利”，政府自己就没办到。电话那头的人说无能为力，说我只能写信给法院投诉。我还真写了！两星期后，今天收到了宣誓通知，不知是巧合还是投诉真起了作用。
