[网络] 请教如何实现共享Modem上网

我想与同屋共享电话线上网,不知如何实现,请高手赐教.

两台机必须有网卡，然后建一个家庭局域网，然后在共享internet,但必须有一台是主机连接着猫，另一台是从机

后面的怎么没有继续说啦??? 还是不明白到底是Hub好还是switch好?? 我们有四台机子要共享bell的高速网.

In my case, I used one router connecting with two computers and one DSL modem.
At first, I setup my router to using DHCP mode, but to my surprise, all the two computers cannot get IP address from the router.
At last, I have to use static IP address, it is strange that all computers can ping each other but only one computer (XP) can use internet without setup DNS. After I checked the DNS address from the router and setup it to other computers, all computers can work perfectly.
The router which I bought from computer smart shop is cheap, only $40(include tax).
Two computers install winXP.

一般modem, 用hub
adsl modem,可以做成主从模式
还可以用路由器做成单独模式
可以试试买个一拖二的接头，8芯全屏蔽hub网络线，就是速度比较慢

看了前面这么多帖子, 现在我的理解是, 如果用Hub,一般两台电脑没有问题, 如果要两台以上, 就要求ADSL的猫是那种阿尔卡特的. 或者用router, 大概是这样吧

如果用SYMPOTICA很简单，一HUB，一ADSL MODEM，二台机器可以同时上，不需要做主机。
