Altima Telecom is one ofthe leading telecommunications company proving the best Internet, IP phone andIPTV services in Canada. We are currently seeking a technically strong andpeople oriented, adaptable and skillful team player to fulfill one of ourTechnical Support positions.
Job Description:
The responsibilities inthis position are:
-To assist clients withtheir requests and issues related to our services by gathering the customer’sinformation and determining the main issues, analyzing the symptoms and findingthe underlying problem.
-To resolve issues onthe first call or escalate and manage tickets when required.
-To follow up withtechnical problems when required.
Part of these tasks willbe - Modem/ Router Configuration, remote access to resolve problems, verifyinginstallation and signal over the phone.
Skills/Qualifications:
· Education: Secondary,GED or higher
· customer serviceexperience in Telecom industry is a must with a minimum of 6 months.
· Technical supportexperience is an asset.
· Excellent communicationand listening skills.
· Detail oriented andOrganized.
· Dynamic and adaptable.
· Analytical and problemsolving skills.
· Ability to multi-task,and work under pressure.
· Ability to work in acomputerized and constantly changing environment.
· Good command of French or Spanish spoken and written, other languages are an asset.
· Knowledge of modemconfiguration (DSL, CABLE, VOIP, and IPTV) is an asset.
