关于银行开户

请过来人建议一下,新到的移民最好开立哪种银行帐户? 是支票的好,还是SAVING的好? 还是两个都开?

本人来加已一年了，银行中只有一个SAVING ACCOUNT，但消费、过账、loan,bursary的转入等等没有感到任何不便。只是想提醒一下最好申请一张信用卡，不同的信用卡有不同的积分和奖励、回扣，新移民开始用钱会比较多，不用信用卡就很可惜。

1. You must have a checking account, because more or less you need check to pay your bill.

2. If you are new immigrant, surely you will save some money for the future especially for those US dollars. You can have a GIC account. For detail, talk to the bank.

其实CHECKING, SAVING关系不大，多一个账号多一个月费，如果你想省钱，开其中一个就够了，使用起来一点区别都没有。如果你为了理财清晰一点，也可以开两个账号。

Go to the bank and the customer representative will discuss with you, ask you questions and then make a plan for you. IF your English is not good, you can go tothe bank in downtown area, they have some representatives who can speak mandarin.
