郁闷ing

康大第一年研究生，选了两门课，可是期中考试都考的很差，没有信心再学下去了，想都drop了。不知道有没人向我一样一来就discontinuous两门课的，哎，学的很累呀！！！

我现在discontinuous的这两门课，以后还可以再选吗？真的是很郁闷呀，要是不drop的话，怕一个不过就什么都没有了。

talk to your professors firstly, usually they can check your midterm, and can fingre our what is the reason, if they think you really need drop it, then drop it. It is true, midterm usually is more tough than the final.

also, you can try to find the reason yourself too, if it is only language problem, for sure you will be used to it and get better.

My experience, if the prof think you might not be able to pass the course, they usually advise you drop it, I heard some students were told that...

Yes, you can drop it and take it again in later semesters; I had the same struggle as you not long ago.

There will be a line in your adademic record indicating that you dropped it, but that's quite normal and will not affect you much.

If you find it very difficult to keep 2 courses going, probably you have something wrong with your study strategies / skills, like, time management, pre-study / pay full attention to the teacher at class / go over as early as you can, etc.

For some courses you MUST attend tutorial since it's very important, some critical info to finish your assignment is not covered by the professor but the tutor in tutorials!

Work together with your classmates, form a study group, are also good study techniques.
