Hi,

I am a computer idiot and have no idea about how much the following computer package may cost today...Could anyone gives me some suggestions?

I am looking for to buy the following computer package:

Intel computer
19" to 20" LCD monitor
2 GB memeory
250 GB harddrive
with internal DVD burner
Window XP
keyboard and mouse...

Could anyone please tell me how much would this computer package may cost?

This is quite urgent...because my computer got infected by virus and I am aiming to buy a new one...

Do you think that what is on sales at Futureshop this week with a similar computer package at $ 1199.99 worthwhile(by the way, there is a printer included)??? Is it the lowest price it can go?

By the way, May I ask do you think that the futureshop package I described below is good and fair-price?

I see that MDG also have some good price computers too...and there are lots of "free upgrades"...but my friend said despite it said "free-upgrade", it meant free labor charge only, and we still need to pay the material cost for the upgrade...Do you know anything about it?

By the way, MDG computers are usually with 512 MB or 1G memory but 500 to 750 GB hard drive, and it costs cheaper....would that be possible? is it bette deal than futureshop?
