现在不少电脑，特别是学校或工作场所的电脑装的是英文或法文操作系统，在IE中可以通过调整内码看到中文网站或电邮，但没有办法输入中文，也不能自行安装中文输入法。我利用网上提供的“在线翻译”和“在线词典”服务，方便地解决了这个问题。
办法：
到世界通的在线翻译页面
(http://www.netat.net/translation/translation.htm)，在页面下部找到“请输入您需要翻译的文本：”，输入相应的英文，可以得到中文。
我从本站找了一个贴子，运行了一下，结果如下：

有点怪？还要点编辑工作，如果还不行，就要靠“在线词典”，找到精确的词汇。
到金山词霸的站点(www.iciba.net)，找到页面左边的“在线词霸”，输入相应的英文，可以得到中文解释。以上面比较怪的翻译为基础，“建造”肯定不如“设计”好，可以在词霸中输入“design”,得到“设计”。，“中国”也不对，应该是“中文”，输入“Chinese”，可以得到“中文”。经过编辑，上面的英文可以变成这个样子：

In Office 2000, in order to install Chinese IME, you need to buy multilanguge pack, it not free. There is a free version for OfficeXP, but no free one for Office2000. If you are running WindowsXP, Chinese IME is embedded. You can go to Control Panel ->Regional Settings, then check Asian langauge and click Apply to install. After installing Asian language pack, click Language bar on task bar, you should be able to switch from English to Chinese.

Njstar is not free neither. You have to buy NJ Communicator.

利用英文作业系统，上网输入中文的几个方子：
1。Visit windows update site : windowsupdate.microsoft.com to download Chinese
Input Method, restart the computer, then you can key-in Chinese under IE or Outlook
2. Visit www.njstar.com to download NJStar Chinese WP, it's a word processor, key-in all Chinese characters under NJStar Chinese WP, then select all, copy & paste to the window under IE.
3. Download NJ Communicator, site same as www.njstar.com, for you to view and key-in Chinese/Japan/Korean characters under browser.

Choose either way you like, all of them are easy and hassle free solutions, need no more translation work.
