hi, friends, do you know how to input chinese fonts in english windows 2000 pro system? if i download a software such as NJstar, i can only use it for 30 days, any other good idea?

I AM USING CSTAR 2.97 TO WRITE THE CHINESE ARTICLE ON THE PLATFORM OF OFFICE WORD 2000. I CAN'T PRINT IT OUT. IF I WANT PRINT IT, THE BLANK PAPER COMES OUT OF THE PRINTER. PLS HELP.

sorry to bother you again, i still can't find boot.ini in my C drive, my system is winme.when i start pc, i have to chose win2000 or windows, though i have deleted win2000.

boot.ini is under your c drive. ( a handy tip: when you try to find a file in your PC, go to Start, Find, File or Folder, and type the file name, your computer will find it for you)
to bingjing:
the explorer.exe might be corrputed. i don't know what OS you are using. if you still have that installation CD with you, just copy explorer.exe form that CD and overwirte your current explorer.exe file (should be located in c;\win or c;\winnt folder) your system. if you don't have that CD, give me your email address, I can forward you a copy by mail. if the restore of explorer.exe wont' resolve the issue, you only can reinitialize your computer.

其实Win2000的内核已近是多语言支持的。微软推荐的方案是安装一个微软多语言支持包（multi languae support package）。我以前的机器都是这样安装的，效果很好。可以同时支持7，8种语言，切换也很方便，菜单还可以选择中文或者英文。中文输入法最后安装，微软拚音3.0狠不错，速度飞快。

great thanks to wang8. that is  window explore. i tried it, but i can not uninstall it.the error message is: "explore.exe generated error and will be closed by window, you should restart your computer now."

window explore or internet explore?
uninstall and reinstall it should fix the problem.
if you still get the same error message, give me the exact error # and error message, i can run a search on MSDN.

1) bootup with win2000, delete all the programmes installed under win2000
2) bootup with win98, delete the winnt folder
3) go to the boot.ini, open it with notepad and delete win98 boot sequence
