Happy to read yshi_music's 5 points. I totally agree. Just want to add some more comments about this Bus Drivers Issue:
1. We should not expect that every person here is very well educated. We have good quality people and poor quality ones. Poor quality people behave the same all over the world. So it is really a battle between good and bad, not really between races! Another important point: Chinese have had fallen into an error zone about the people in advanced countries like US and Canada THINKING that the people in these countries are better ( on a general level, yes), but they naively expecting that everyone should behave correctly, which can not be true. So grow up and stop feeling the shit on your face when the person who threw the shit didn't really care on whose face the shit is thrown. Chinese should grow psychologically stronger and more mature to get to know really how to think and what to do to fit into Canada.
2. Many of Chinese are little bit like spoiled kids. They always expect to be treated correctly. They never got the chance to learn that SHIT HITS THE FAN many times in life, not only sometimes. But I think the person who was left behind by the driver was trying to ask help by wanting to know if this behavior of the driver is discreamination. So he/she got all these ideas including mine.
3. Many Chinese still feel the outsiders. Maybe their bodies are here, but their spirit( I hope they have one )is not yet here. I would like every Chinese who is here remember that we are here for a better society, better service and better life. We are here to be Canadians, if not for us, then for the children to be. So if anyone who do not provide us all that we need, first of all, we should feel that the driver who didn't treat us right is not treating the Canadians right( if we have been paying the tax). So it is all the Canadians right to keep it right or improve it. Should not always feel being discreaminated against whenever something happens. If bad things happen, try to correct it AS A CANADIAN. Don't please belittle the Chinese as always being discreaminated in this country and don't please contaminate Chinese with this desease of being PARANOID which is a psychologocal characteristic of a thief! To work for a better service and life ( a better functioning society )is the purpose of our life for us and for our children. Feel like a Canadian from now and fight for a better society for ourselves and the children including ours. If we always feel being discreaminated because of these ordinary poor quality workers' behaviour, we can never fit into Canada. Then it will take much longer for your kids to learn the right ways to fit into Canada and become true Canadians who work hard, pay tax, fight and protect tax payers interest .
Thanks for sharing the opinions. If anything doesn't sound plaisant or doesn't suit some readers, please never mind!
