想买一台加币2500左右的笔记本，请教大侠哪个品牌和型号比较好？先谢了。

我曾经短暂的拥有一台，IBM  X  SERIES，说实话，感觉真好，很稳定，很薄，很轻，电池也很耐用。机身是用贵重金属做的，保证了强度，不但没增加重量，反倒很轻。不象其他的NOTEBOOK，是塑料的机身，总怕挤坏压坏，
另外，IBM T SERIES 也很好，但尺寸要大一些。所谓的大一些，不过是跟FUTURE SHOP 里面卖的机型差不多。
FUTURE SHOP 里有IBM 的DEMO 机，但是是IBM抵档的A SERIES。
总之，IBM 是很好的机型，唯一的遗憾是价钱贵，比其他牌子的笔记本要贵很多。不过我认为物有所值。
所以要买笔记本，主要还是看自己的想法。

I am going to buy a IBM ThinkPAD X series which will be drop down from 3500 to c$2200 before 15th April, this is what the sales person told me on that day I am going to buy a laprop in the IBM Shop in EATON CENTER. McGill metro.  :rolleyes:  

so if you guys still dream to buy one, why not wait for a while.

much cheaper!! tax lower!
CA$2000 is enough to buy excellent one.

I used IBM, TOSHIBA, DELL, ACER before. From all these laptops, I think TOSHIBA is more reliable and cost effective. IBM too expensive and heavy, Acer not band in pirce but easy to broke, DELL is expensive but the quality is not bad. If you want to buy it in Montreal, you can consider TOSHIBA or DELL. I donot know what's the service of these two, it's another matter you need to care.
