Dear all,

I submitted my citizenship application late December last year. The date was Jan 4, 2002 on the first letter that Immigration Canada sent me.
Now almost half a year has passed by.

Does anyone know how long it takes to complete the citizenship application if living in Montreal?

every two letter there is two month between. normally it takes 1 year to complete. you don't have to live in somewhere in Canada after three years resident, but you have to keep contact with governmnet, be sure they gona have way to inform you with mail.
